This is in infrared, so I think they are red because they are warm...

how big do they get? Some images have large red areas that are very fuzzy but I do't know if they are "objects".

So why are they red? Is this a composite image? It it in the visible light spectrum only? Fuzzy red object doesn't quite cut the mustard.

The way I look at it is if the red object is fairly sharply defined, it's not a "fuzzy" red object! It has to be somewhat diffuse for me...

What if the fuzzy red object us spread throughout the image? It is appropriate to select half of the image as "interesting object"?

Are there any red objects that aren't qualified for marking?
