Introducing the Milkman

Milkman is a new Tool for Milky Way Project users. You can read more about it on Rob's blog. It shows how our clicks are being used and how many volunteers have clicked on the same image. Look out for the new Explore button when you are commenting on an image in Talk or use the direct link: http://explore.milkywayproject.org/ Happy exploring!
Thanks Rob! 😃

Would love people's comments and views on Milkman - specifically what other info would you want to see on the page or linked from it?

It would be nice to know which of the coordinates numbers to adjust to try to get any type of photo sequence, is that possible? Thank you

Good call @Sundog1a - or some other way of getting to adjacent images (like the arrows on Moon Zoo images).

I saw one of the Milkman's images where there were three artifacts very distinctly labelled as ego's (sorry, I can't find it anymore). How do we get these image re-imagined or re-classified ?

I suppose this is the kind of thing that the team will sort out in the data reduction stage. The marks show " all the clicks from all the volunteers who have seen that image"- from Rob's blog - so some things may well be marked incorrectly especially if people are not sure or just starting out.

The Milky Way Project is currently between datasets and it looks like the Milkman site is down during this period. Hopefully when we get some more data it will be back.
