Different colours of clouds

  Science question: most glowing dust clouds glow red in these images. However, a few have either a pinkish or greenish colour. Do these clouds have a different temperature, or are these colours associated with particular emission lines?

  The green there might be an EGO -- or it might be an artifact (being close to the edge of the image). You can mark it as both.

  Yes -- the colors indicate where the emission is coming from, which is typically related to the temperature of the gas.
