Green EGO - like objects near edges and boarders.

  Can someone please offer an authoritative opinion as to the nature of these "objects" and a determination about how to classify them. I see so many along these edges that I am tempted to ignore them. I might call them "artifacts" but I generally save that classification for the most obviously pixellated and strikingly off color areas.

  The safest thing to do is to mark them both as "EGOs" and as "artifacts."
  By doing this you ensure that both teams of scientists will review the detections. Sometimes it is possible to get false EGOs along the edges of images due to the data processing, but given Bob Benjamin's comment on the image, this could be a real cluster of objects.
