This isn't so much a new thread as it is a constructive comment. The current interface on the Milky way project is so much more user friendly. I didn't mind the other software for it's complexity, but because of it being time consuming. I am grateful, though, for being able to use my hobby in a useful, productive way. I eat, breath, live astronomy some days.
