Ribbon and EGO. Maybe star cluster as well.

  This picture looks like a huge ribbon in space. I would say it looks like a pillar, but I don't recall anything that looks like this. Also there is that '"nodule" in the center. Pretty sure there is an EGO in it but it looks kind of strange to combination of it all.

  That's a concentrated ribbon of gas and dust with what looks like some star forming activity in the centre. Maybe a hint of an EGO too. The Guide explains a little more.
