Red Star and Unigue pronounced rays from star

A Star in this image has VERY pronounced Spikes - While Other stars in image DO NOT. Additionally the star and the spikes are red and the stars and the spikes are of the same intensity. Have never seen this before (and I have seen literally millions of stars imaged in thousands of digital and film images) so wanted to point it out and see what everybody thinks.
