Pillars

  Scorpion's tail (-: And 3 #pillar s upper rt. Pillars look like good bets for forming protostars to me. Something up top is blowing out the gas, but something in the pillar protects it--like maybe a forming star with enough self gravity to hold some stuff together. It then shadows the rest of the pillar for a while.
