It's looks like an explosion of the sun that might have ejected it's way into space but the exploded item can not be confirm as the sun, just a mere opinion due to similarities in color.

Huh. It looks like the color stretch is very strange in this region. So, its not a bad idea to mark it as an aritfact.
Its probably a star forming region that just looks insane because of an error in the image making.
