Odd Nebula?

  • The_Lunar_Republic by The_Lunar_Republic

I noticed this odd, almost figure-eight shaped structure directly down and to the right of the rather spectacular image artifact talked about in previous discussions and because I wasn't sure what it was I went ahead and listed it as "other". I am still very interested in it because it immediately reminded a bit of Eta Carinae. I admit I just started on this today, so it could be something common that appears frequently, but at the very least I would love to learn something new.

I do see what you mean - though it really is hard to tell at that resolution. We do regularly see bright (white) regions in the pink clouds, however, and I'm inclined to think this is another example.
