The Milky Way Project Talk
See the comments below : the dark centre of the star is an artifact, caused by oversaturation.
Those lines are diffraction spikes (optical artifacts)
See the comments below : it is NGC7354, a planetary nebula
Yep, that is a star.
Correct !
See the comments below : it is NGC 7354 a planetary nebula.
Looks more like an artefact to me.
I'm sure you are doing a terrific job. Keep up the good work !
See the comments below : it's a big bubble ! 😄
It's probably a bubble of hot gas.
Some of the brownish/red dots could be galaxies.
Looks more like a bubble of hot gas to me.
Both artefact and artifact are acceptable ! 😄
A gorgeous cloud of hot gas !
Where ?
Little bubbles of hot gas ! 😄
Sorry, no gravitational lensing in these images. It is just a chance alignment.
See the FAQ = http://www.milkywayproject.org/#/faq
Probably a star from our galaxy.
Where ? ;D
Correct, the center of this cloud of gas is just too bright for the cameras. The blue/black dot in the centre is just an optical artifact.
I think you are referring to a spiral galaxy. Nice catch.
See the comments below : it is a planetary nebula
See the comments below : it is planetary nebula !
Sorry, not sure what you are referring too .
Sorry, it is not possible to see gravitational lensed galaxies in these images. It is just a chance alignment !
Doesn't really look like a star. Any ideas ?
#triggered
Those greenises are, sadly, just artifacts. 😄
Do you mean the bright white thingy, bottom right? That's not a supernova but a region of very active star formation. Black dot = artifact
#planktonportal all over again ! 😄
Sorry, can't see it. The only green balls I see are stars.
The one a little bit to the left and bottom of center ? I'd go for galaxy as well.
Where do you see this possible partial spiral arm of a galaxy ?
I'd classify both of these as #galaxies
#greencloud (bottom right) ?
What would we call this one ? It looks amazing !
I'd go for galaxy
#greencloud ?, bottom right
#greencloud (underneath the collect button)
#greencloud just right of center ?
Yep, have seen a couple of those too. Could these be galaxies ?
Wow indeed ! 😄
Not sure what you mean, sorry
Top left : definitely a bubble with #triggered starfomation
The black spot in the center of the bright star (left) is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation
#triggred
This is the 2nd time tonight that I came across this one (in a different picture). Still amazing though! 😄
Just got this one ! It made me sit up ! 😄
I'd mark it as a galaxy as wel.It could be a spiral seen at an angle
It could be a tiny ego. Did you mark it as one ? 😄
Yep, three galaxies for me as well. 😄
Looks like it ! 😄
Little pockets of hot gas ( I think)
I was thinking maybe a #planetarynebula ?
I'd go for an ego and a couple of bubbles with triggered star formation. #triggered Gorgeous image ! #dailyzoo
LOL ! 😄
What are you referring to ?
What is what ?
Gorgeous #bubble !
Lots of hot gas expanding ! I'd go for a bubble there.
And again, I would've marked it as a galaxy too ! 😄
Yep, galaxy for me too !
The small thingy at the bottom ? I'd mark it as a galaxy too !
Is the black thing/divide real or an artifact ? If it is real, it looks really amazing ! 😄
I'd mark it as an ego.
Bottom right corner ? Actually I would mark that as a galaxy !
So sorry, but I don't know what you ar referring to ! Could you point me to it ?
Could be dust.
LOL !
Oh waw ! Nice catch ! 😄
I'd mark it as a cluster as well. Not sure about the binary stars : could just as well be line of sight.
It's a definite maybe ! 😄
it just looks weird. Beautiful, but weird ! 😄
#ego at the bottom ?
#dailyzoo ! 😄
#triggered ?
Amazing pic btw ! ;D
#dailyzoo
#triggered Beautiful ! 😄
Half a bubble and a gorgeous EGO!
Yeay ! Got this one today i 😄
Most of the red fuzzy objects are blobs of hot gas.
I'd mark it as a galaxy ! Fingers crossed ! 😄
😄
Call me colour blind, but I would've marked this as an EGO.Or something weird ! 😄
It could be a bow shock. I would've marked it as half a bubble (but hey, that is just me ! 😄 ).
But better safe than sorry !
I'd go for a tiny bubble
I would have marked a couple of bubbles in this image as well !😄
It could be a tiny (very tiny ) bubble ! 😄
Oh my word : what a gorgeous ego ! Nice catch !
Sorry, no idea what you are referring to. Could you tell us a bit more what you are ooking at ?
Looks like an artifact to me.
I'd mark them both as a bubble 😄
It gets around a bit ! ;D Maybe it is real space Plankton ! 😮 😄
If you think you can see a bubble you can mark it.
The green thingy top right corner is probably an artefact. And I'd go for stars fro the orange dots.
Looks weird all right ! I'd tag it as Object/Other. Will try and bring it to the attention of the science team
I thought I switched projects.! 😮
#dailyzoo This one at the top would feel perfectly at home in Plankton Zoo ! 😄
#triggered, #cluster
Sorry no ego's in this image for me.
ego or artifact ?
really, really #triggered 😄
#ego for me as well ! 😄
Bottom left : weird little ego or an artifact ? (I'd go for artifact, since it is so close to a bright star)
Where do you see a galaxy in this image ?
Where is this 'brown dwarf'?
Gorgeous ! 😄
Not sure that it is a bow shock ! But not sure what to call it ! 😄
#ego or star ?
It is probably an artifact.
Lol ! 😄
Gorgeous little #ego ! 😄
Hello Halloween ! 😄
Don't think so. Lovely little ego though ! 😄
Amazing something so and so ! 😄
Could there be an isolated ego? (bottom, left of center)
ooh, nice ! 😄
The black spot is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
Amazing #bubble ! 😄
Not sure if that is a galaxy. Looks more like some hot gas and a bright young star to me.
Weird stars or little bubbles in the bottom left corner . Any ideas ?
First of all, I'm super bad at detecting bow shocks. But I really don't see one here ! 😄
Galaxy for me too ! 😄
Sorry, I don't see a pillar in this image.
Maybe, maybe not ! 😄
Sorry, I'm super bad in tagging bow shocks ! But, did you tag the @ego ? 😄
Isn't ego Latin for I ? Sorry, just nitpicking ! 😄
#triggered and possible #ego
What an adorable little round #bubble ! 😄
Possible #planetary_nebula ?
Wow ! Amazing pic ! I'm feeling a #dailyzoo coming on ! ;D
Hot blob of gas with a young star.
I'd go for #galaxy. But getting it tagged is a good thing ! 😄
#trigerred
The green thingies are not ego's (sadly) but artifacts. Usually found near the edges of the survey.
I would classify that as a cluster too ! 😄
Don't think it is a planetary nebula. But no idea what it really is.
#triggered.
Sorry, where do you see a nebula in this image ?
Lots of things going on in this one ! 😄
Yep ! 😄
#riggered
Nice catch ! 😄
Not a pillar for me, sorry.Pillars should have new stars at the tips.
What feature are you commenting on ?
What feature are you commenting on?
Yeay ! 😄
Great pic ! 😄
#triggered (bottom center)
greenish cloud (bottom left)
#planetarynebula ? (left above cluster)
Very ! 😄
Care to share your pic ? 😄
The blue smudge is an optical artifact. They occur near the edges of the survey.
Wow ! Never thought this would be a bow shock ! You learn something new everyday ! 😄
No problem, you can mark half bubbles ! And don't worry about missing a bubble. All these images will get looked at by a lot of people ! 😄
I wouldn't mark it as a galaxy. But it is your call ! 😄
LOL ! #dailyzoo
Where do you see it ?
Could this be a diffraction spike caused by a bright star outside of this image
Sorry, these green smudges are not egos but artifacts. They occur at the edges of the survey.
Could the yellow arc (far right centre) be an #ego ?
#triggered #dailyzoo
Looks like a small blob of hot gas with a young star blowing a bubble.Lovely.
I suppose you mean the green 'object' almost in the center of the image.
No idea ! I'll ask around 😄
Possible #planetarynebula
So sorry, but the blue and green smudges are believed to be artifacts.
The red dot with the white center is probably a blob of hot gas with a very young star at the center
Too faint and small (for me) to tell, sorry!
Wow ! Amazing cluster ! #dailyzoo
Il était une fois une sorcière ... 😄
There is no way to tell, just from this image. Sorry. Looks very cool though ! 😄
Could be. Very difficult to see.
Probably a couple of smaller bubbles doing their bit (just my thought)
Got this one today ! Lovely #planetarynebula :S
Looks like some kind of artifacts.
#dailyzoo : a square bubble
x marks the spot ! #dailyzoo
Yep, the red thingy is indeed an artifact, associated with the bright star to the bottom right of it !
The blue rectangle is an optical artifact.
The two red dots are indeed artifacts.
If you mean just right of center, I would've tagged that as an #ego
#triggered big time 😄
At least four sounds about right ! 😄
Happy hunting
I'd go for possible #galaxy.
Maybe. 😄
Definitely not an artifact. And not a bubble either for me. I'd go for a possible #planetary_nebula ! 😄 Nice catch !
Bonjour ! !I Don't see any bubbles hererI
I'd mark the green bit as an #ego
I'd mark it as an #ego 😄
WOW !
Perfect bubble
I see a couple of small bubbles top right.
Bubble for me ! 😄
The pink bubble is beyond amazing ! And two EGO's to booth ! 😄
beautiful ethereal #bubble and #triggered
squashed bubble ?
Hi Bram,
You are correct. There is nothing to tag here. 😄
Happy hunting !
What is your question ? 😄
The red areas are clumps of hot gas
The red circle could be a possible planetary nebula, but looking at the color it is probably a bubble with a young star in the center
A possible "planetarynebula !
Oooh, nice one ! And what an amazing bubble at the bottom. The perfect "triggered" one!
At least you marked it ! 😄
The color is very strange for an object just in the middle of nowhere. I think I will call in a help line ! 😄
No idea ! How did you mark it ?
No idea. Artifacts ?
#planetarynebula (center left) ?
Hi Donnet and welcome to MWP. I see two blobs of hot gas, bottom left. And maybe a galaxy, top right.
What an amazing #bubble !
Lovely little #bubble ! 😄
This image made the "Daily Zooniverse" ! 😄
http://daily.zooniverse.org/2014/06/12/red-x-from-mwp/
#triggrered
X marks the spot ! 😄
Possibly a #planetarynebula
Could that be a galaxy ?
Those green fuzzy clouds are probably artefacts
Possible #galaxy or #planetarynebula ?
Strange bubble, top right.
All the white objects in this image are stars. Not sure which one you are referring to ?
#planetarynebula ? Bottom right quadrant, close to center
Could that be a tiny blob of hot gas ?
The one at 4 could be a galaxy ?
1/2
This image come from the edges of the dataset where there are one or more data channels missing.
2/2
This produces triangular or zig-zag blocks of blue, yellow, or red.
Wow ! Amazing image. Looks like two half bubbles. Am alerting the science team for this one ! 😄
#triggered ! 😮
Dont think it is a nebula. Looks like blob of hot gas to me.
Maybe a galaxy ?
The red object at 1 is a blob of hot gas. Not sure which object at 3 you are referring to.
Ooh, that's a keeper for Valentine's Day !
Unusual blob of hot gas ? 😄 Nice find !
#trggered
Ooh ! Gorgeous image !
What do you mean with 'removing' ? This is an image with nothing to report, so just click 'Nothing to mark'.
I'm thinking possible #planetarynebula
I'm thinking artefact, because it is aligned with the diffraction spike of the bright star.
That is a blob of hot gas
The green fuzz is an artifact.
Sorry, I don't see a galaxy here ! 😄
The red 'edge on' impostor is an optical artifact cause bey a bright star outside of this image
I'd go for bubble !
Yep ! Nice catch 😄
Could be, but there is no way to tell from just this image if these two stars are actually close to each other.
This is an amazing image !
Possible #planetarynebula for me.
I'd tag it both as a #planetarynebula and a #galaxy. Just to be on the safe side ! 😄
Double bubble ! Nice catch ! 😄
I'm thinking gas blob.
Possibly a #galaxy ?
That is a new one ! 😄
#ego
Maybe a #galaxy ?
What an amazing image ! 😄
Beautiful !
Do you mean the red one at the top ? That is a hot bubble of gas with a young star at the centre.
Possible #planetarynebula ?
Lots of hot gas and a couple of hot young stars. Nice bubble to the right.
Could be a #planetarynebula or a bubble of hot gas.
Not sure which object you are referring to ?
#redring ! or #planetarynebula
#triggered (bottom right)
Where ? Where ? 😄
What a gorgeous image ! 😄
Wow ! 😄
Another green star, possible #ego
anoher green star. #ego ?
Very round #bubble. #triggered ?
I marked the green star as an #ego, just in case ! 😄
Maybe an #ego top right (near the center) quadrant?
gorgeous #ego !
Do you mean the red spot with the white center ? That is a bright star. The colors, spikes and ring are all optical artifacts.
Great #bubble and an #ego !
two weird looking #ego's
#planetarynebula or #bubble ?
#planetarynebula ?
#planetarynebula at the left border ?
Gorgeous #cluster
Gorgeous image ! 😄
Maybe ! I would have marked it as one as well ! 😄
Sorry, I don't see an EGO in this image !
I wouldn't tag it as such, but it is your call ! 😄
What an amazing color ! 😄
Amazing is just about the right word ! 😄
beautiful #cluster
The bright objects is a star, the dark center and the green smudge are both optical artifacts
Wow !
gorgeous !
About what ?
It's a weird one, but I would tag it as an ego as well ! 😄
Correct. The dark dot is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
Ooh, tricky one ! I would've probably marked it as a galacy as well.
What ? Where ?
The red streak is an optical artifact.
ooh, nice one !
Just an observation, but there have been very few pillars in this stage of the project. Or is it just me ?
I'd go for #ego for this one too !
The one to the right ? Definitely bubble for me !
Most probably artifacts, sorry !
I'd tag it as one. 😄
The 'flare' on the red star is not a flare but an optical artifact (difraction spike)
Looks like three stars (that appear to be?) close toghether
I'm going for #triggered ! 😄
Ooh, nice one ! 😄
Bottom left corner : #bubble for me too
What red artefact ?
The red ring with the white center is a hot blob of gas with a young star at the center
Really big #EGO ! 😄
Looks like a blob of hot gas.
A blob of hot gas.
What daisy thing ?
Nice chance alignment
I don't see a nebula and I don't see a pillar ! It could be me though ! 😄
Lovely #starcluster !
These are images from the edge of the dataset. More info here (at the end) http://www.milkywayproject.org/#/guide
I think it is a bubble of hot gas with a young star in the center
It could be a galaxy.
#repeat
Looks like one to me ! Nice catch
Galaxy or planetary nebula ?
Those are stars. The red to the right is an optical artifact.
Little ghost face ! 😄
Sorry, I don't see it !
It could be. Looks amazing. There is this young hot star at the center. But this placement is unusual !
N° 5 😄
A couple of #triggered !
Young hot stars.
The red dot next to the bright stars is an optical artifact.
I'd go for young hot star and a hydrogen cloud.
Could be ! 😄
Could be two stars, or something completely different ! 😄
Could be a hot young star with a hydrogen cloud around it.
Lovely bubble ! 😄
Here's the thread with info : http://tinyurl.com/triggered-starformation
I got this one today. No idea what it is. 😄
The three yellow objects in a row : hot young stars ?
Lovely dust clouds
Gorgeous cluster.
Not sure, could be gas clouds with young stars in it.
Amazing image ! 😮
The images overlap and then there are the different zoom levels. So,it is definitely possible that you have seen an image more then once ! 😄
The black dot is not a planet but an artifact caused by oversaturation
Another great #ego !
Oh wow ! (and I am not an astronomer! ;D )
Nice one ! 😄
Is this your first time with the new phase of MWP ? If not, just refreshing the page will get rid of the tutorial.
The bright spiky thing is a star.
So, not an EGO but an EGA ? 😄
The bright spiky object to the left is a star. The colors, spikes and weird center are all optical artifacts.
Wow ! #EGO
LOL !! 😄
Please, if you think this is (half) a bubble, mark it as such ! Looks great!
The dark spot is an artifact caused by oversaturation.
double bubble 😄
As for the black dot in the center of the star, top left, that is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
That is probably an artifact.
That colour green looks suspiciously like an artifact. But I would've marked it as an ego as well (and as an artifact too !) ;D
Still not used to double marking things ! But thanks for the tip ! 😄
Any ideas about the brownish ring, bottom left quadrant ?
Not sure about the ego's. Some stars in this image have the same green colour.
It has a greenish tinge, but that could be because it's bright. But I would've marked it too (possibly) 😄
Do you mean the bright, spiky thing ? That is not a SN but a bright star. The colors and spikes are optical artifacts.
That is probably a young hot star. The halo is an artifact.
There is some discussion about this. Leaning towards artifact.
Her's a link to the Guide : http://www.milkywayproject.org/#/guide
Quote : EGO's are small, irregular blobs of green.
What object are you referring to ?
That would be my idea too ! 😄
Hi both, no pillars or bubbles in this image for me. But it could be my screen ! 😄
Awww ! 😄
Ooh, definitely worth tagging as an ego !
Not too sure about the cluster (I don't see it). But if you think there is one, just tag it !
That looks really weird. I'd tag it as an ego !
The black dot is just an optical artifact caused by oversaturation. At these distances it is impossible to see a planet directly.
Well, it was stolen, wasn't it ? 😄
The blue band is just where something went very wrong with the filters .
Any ideas on the little red space worm (lower half, right edge) ? 😄
Wow ! gorgeous image !
Do you mean the yellow spike ? That is an artifact.
EGO, left side
Looks like you can't ! 😮 Or else it is very well hidden ! 😄
#EGO
It has a Halloweeny feel to it ! 😄
Sorry, I can't even see them ! Could be my screen !
EGO
I don't think the green dots in this image are EGO's. They look more like stars.
It's probably a blob of warm gas heated by a young star.
Don't think these two are galaxies. I'm thinking gas clouds. Looks like there is even a bubble in the left one
It's probably a young star or blob of warm gas heated by a young star.
Could be a young hot star.
Nice bubble.
EGO, bottom right
I'd go for bubble
Could be a young star or a blob of hot gas
Big EGO ! 😄
Looks like a diffraction spike (optical artifact) caused by a bright star outside of this image.
I'd go for a blob of hot gas
Two bright stars with the same optical artifact.
string of (gas) blobs 😄
i think that is an artifact.
Don't see a galaxy there. But what a gorgeous image !
Other is good. This is probably a blob of heated gas (sounds awful, but there you go)
It is just a star from our galaxy. Definitely no lensing going on here. Those are just optical artifacts.
Could be a line of sight. Imagine the odds of having four binary stars in just one image
Another one of a probably artifact not an EGO ! 😄
Double bubble ! 😄
I'm reasonably sure that the green thingy associated with the bright star at the bottom right is not an EGO but an artifact. Right ? 😄
EGO just under the red object top right ?
Another one with green smudges
gas filament
It looks too red to be a galaxy. I'd go for gas.
beautiful bubble.
That is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
Not sure about this one.
Yes ! Nice catch
I'd go for artifact.
I'd probably go for a small bubble.
Looks like it ! Nice catch ! 😄
Amazing image !
Maybe a small cluster ?
Not too sure about this being a bow shock, sorry.
if every star in the image is greenish, I don't mark them as EGO's. Could be a filter problem.
It could be a star that is shedding some its layers in a #nova, or perhaps a planetary nebulae (dixit ttfnrob scientist)
Hi fleur33, click on 'Swirls on the left side' discussion to your right. More info there !
I don't think there are EGO's in this image. But I'm rather bad at spotting them.
The dark center of the star is an optical artifact. And yes, the red line above the star is also an artifact.
No EGO's for me either
Not too sure ! I wouldn't mark it, but hey that is just me! 😄
I suppose you mean the bright red line ? That is an optical artifact.
The red thing is definitely an artifact. And I would go for bubble and cluster too.
yes, there are two kinds of zoom images in this dataset.
I'd go for artifacts.
Not sure. A lot of the brighter stars have a green thingy. Could be an artifact. But I mark these too ! 😄
I'd mark that as an EGO
Galaxy for me too
The red line is indeed a aritfact
I'd go for one structure.
I wouldn't mark it as a cluster. But, if you think it is one, mark it as such ! 😄
Could be that you've seen all the images !
Gorgeous image !
I'd mark it as such
Very poetic ! 😄 These lovely ones are very rare. ! Just keep on classifying and you will get one like this, I'm sure !
strange pillars top right quadrant ?
You could call the group of stars at the bottom right a cluster. In the red cloud there is a possible little bubble.
#nebula for me too ! 😄
Nice bubble, not too sure about the cluster.
I'd mark it too !
I got this one today ! Just wow ! 😄
Could be, not sure though ! 😄
I can see two possible galaxies in here, but not a green one. Can you point it out ?
I'm leaning towards artifact as well.
Is that a bow shock (upper right) or just a bubble?
The green object could be a reflection (optical artifact)
As they said, bow shocks are really rare. But I could be persuaded to call this one a bow shock. Please correct me ! 😄
I'm still struggling with these images, but I would've gone for galaxies too!
I'd go for a possible galaxy too.
Wow indeed ! Stunning image.
I'm thinking galaxy as well.
What stops you from marking partial bubbles? Just go for it ! 😄
Looks like it !
Yes, definitely artifacts
No galaxies in this image except for maybe the little brown smudge underneath 'collect'.
Sorry.
Looks like an artifact
Could be a moving object (asteroid ? )
Sorry, I don't see any galaxies in this image.
Don't think it is a galaxy. Could be a star from our galaxy !
Not sure if there is a pillar here, sorry
Could you point me to the cluster? please ?
I'm not an expert 😄 , but not a cluster for me.
#cluster
Lots of stars. What do you find strange here ?
I think I can see it too ! 😄
Maybe a planetary nebula ?
See the comments below : the dark centre of the star is an artifact, caused by oversaturation.
Those lines are diffraction spikes (optical artifacts)
See the comments below : it is NGC7354, a planetary nebula

#triggered
It is probably an artifact.

#triggered
Lol ! 😄
Gorgeous little #ego ! 😄
Hello Halloween ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
Don't think so. Lovely little ego though ! 😄
Amazing something so and so ! 😄
#triggered
Could there be an isolated ego? (bottom, left of center)
ooh, nice ! 😄
The black spot is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.

Not sure if that is a galaxy. Looks more like some hot gas and a bright young star to me.
#triggered
Weird stars or little bubbles in the bottom left corner . Any ideas ?
#triggered
#triggered
First of all, I'm super bad at detecting bow shocks. But I really don't see one here ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
Galaxy for me too ! 😄
Sorry, I don't see a pillar in this image.
Maybe, maybe not ! 😄
Sorry, I'm super bad in tagging bow shocks ! But, did you tag the @ego ? 😄
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
Isn't ego Latin for I ? Sorry, just nitpicking ! 😄
#triggered and possible #ego
What an adorable little round #bubble ! 😄
Possible #planetary_nebula ?
Wow ! Amazing pic ! I'm feeling a #dailyzoo coming on ! ;D
Hot blob of gas with a young star.
I'd go for #galaxy. But getting it tagged is a good thing ! 😄
#trigerred
The green thingies are not ego's (sadly) but artifacts. Usually found near the edges of the survey.
#triggered
#triggered
I would classify that as a cluster too ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
Don't think it is a planetary nebula. But no idea what it really is.
#triggered.
Sorry, where do you see a nebula in this image ?
#triggered
#triggered
Lots of things going on in this one ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
Yep ! 😄
#triggered
#riggered
Nice catch ! 😄
Not a pillar for me, sorry.Pillars should have new stars at the tips.

Great pic ! 😄
#triggered (bottom center)
greenish cloud (bottom left)
#planetarynebula ? (left above cluster)
#triggered
Where ?
Very !
#triggered

#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
Probably a couple of smaller bubbles doing their bit (just my thought)
Got this one today ! Lovely #planetarynebula :S
#triggered

Yep, the red thingy is indeed an artifact, associated with the bright star to the bottom right of it !
The blue rectangle is an optical artifact.
The two red dots are indeed artifacts.
If you mean just right of center, I would've tagged that as an #ego
#triggered
#triggered

#triggered
beautiful ethereal #bubble and #triggered
squashed bubble ?
Hi Bram,
You are correct. There is nothing to tag here. 😄
Happy hunting !
What is your question ? 😄
#triggered
#triggered
The red areas are clumps of hot gas
The red circle could be a possible planetary nebula, but looking at the color it is probably a bubble with a young star in the center
#triggered
#triggered
A possible "planetarynebula !
Oooh, nice one ! And what an amazing bubble at the bottom. The perfect "triggered" one!
At least you marked it ! 😄
The color is very strange for an object just in the middle of nowhere. I think I will call in a help line ! 😄
No idea ! How did you mark it ?
#triggered
#triggered
No idea. Artifacts ?
#planetarynebula (center left) ?
Hi Donnet and welcome to MWP. I see two blobs of hot gas, bottom left. And maybe a galaxy, top right.
What an amazing #bubble !

Those green fuzzy clouds are probably artefacts
Possible #galaxy or #planetarynebula ?
#triggered

Strange bubble, top right.
All the white objects in this image are stars. Not sure which one you are referring to ?
#planetarynebula ? Bottom right quadrant, close to center
I'd mark it as an ego.
Could that be a tiny blob of hot gas ?
The one at 4 could be a galaxy ?
1/2
This image come from the edges of the dataset where there are one or more data channels missing.
2/2
This produces triangular or zig-zag blocks of blue, yellow, or red.
#triggered
Wow ! Amazing image. Looks like two half bubbles. Am alerting the science team for this one ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
I'd mark it as an ego.
That is a blob of hot gas
The green fuzz is an artifact.
Sorry, I don't see a galaxy here ! 😄
The red 'edge on' impostor is an optical artifact cause bey a bright star outside of this image
I'd go for bubble !
#triggered
#triggered
WOW !
Yep ! Nice catch 😄
Could be, but there is no way to tell from just this image if these two stars are actually close to each other.
This is an amazing image !
Possible #planetarynebula for me.
I'd tag it both as a #planetarynebula and a #galaxy. Just to be on the safe side ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
Double bubble ! Nice catch ! 😄
I'm thinking gas blob.
Looks like it ! 😄
Possibly a #galaxy ?
That is a new one ! 😄

Maybe a #galaxy ?
What an amazing image ! 😄

Do you mean the red one at the top ? That is a hot bubble of gas with a young star at the centre.
#triggered
#triggered
Possible #planetarynebula ?
Lots of hot gas and a couple of hot young stars. Nice bubble to the right.
Could be a #planetarynebula or a bubble of hot gas.
Not sure which object you are referring to ?

Maybe an #ego top right (near the center) quadrant?
#triggered
#triggered
gorgeous #ego !

Do you mean the red spot with the white center ? That is a bright star. The colors, spikes and ring are all optical artifacts.
Great #bubble and an #ego !

Gorgeous #cluster
Gorgeous image ! 😄
Maybe ! I would have marked it as one as well ! 😄
Sorry, I don't see an EGO in this image !
I wouldn't tag it as such,
but it is your call ! 😄
#triggered
What an amazing color ! 😄
#triggered
Amazing is just about the right word ! 😄
#triggered
beautiful #cluster
The bright objects is a star, the dark center and the green smudge are both optical artifacts
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered ?
Wow !
#triggered
gorgeous !
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
About what ?
#triggered
It's a weird one, but I would tag it as an ego as well ! 😄
#triggered
Correct. The dark dot is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
#triggered
Ooh, tricky one ! I would've probably marked it as a galacy as well.
What ? Where ?
#triggered
The red streak is an optical artifact.
ooh, nice one !
Just an observation, but there have been very few pillars in this stage of the project. Or is it just me ?
I'd go for #ego for this one too !
#triggered
The one to the right ? Definitely bubble for me !
Most probably artifacts, sorry !
I'd tag it as one. 😄
The 'flare' on the red star is not a flare but an optical artifact (difraction spike)
#triggered
Looks like three stars (that appear to be?) close toghether
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
#triggered
I'm going for #triggered ! 😄
Ooh, nice one ! 😄
Bottom left corner : #bubble for me too
What red artefact ?
#triggered
#triggered
The red ring with the white center is a hot blob of gas with a young star at the center
#triggered
Really big #EGO ! 😄
Looks like a blob of hot gas.
A blob of hot gas.
What daisy thing ?
#triggered
Nice chance alignment
#triggered
I don't see a nebula and I don't see a pillar ! It could be me though ! 😄
Lovely #starcluster !
These are images from the edge of the dataset. More info here (at the end) http://www.milkywayproject.org/#/guide

I think it is a bubble of hot gas with a young star in the center
It could be a galaxy.

#triggered ?
Young hot stars.
The red dot next to the bright stars is an optical artifact.
I'd go for young hot star and a hydrogen cloud.
Could be ! 😄
Could be two stars, or something completely different ! 😄
#triggered
Could be a hot young star with a hydrogen cloud around it.
#triggered
Lovely bubble ! 😄
#triggered
#triggered
Here's the thread with info : http://tinyurl.com/triggered-starformation
#triggered
I got this one today. No idea what it is. 😄
The three yellow objects in a row : hot young stars ?
#triggered ?
#triggered
#triggered ?
Lovely dust clouds
Gorgeous cluster.
Not sure, could be gas clouds with young stars in it.
Amazing image ! 😮
Lovely bubble ! 😄
The images overlap and then there are the different zoom levels. So,it is definitely possible that you have seen an image more then once ! 😄
The black dot is not a planet but an artifact caused by oversaturation
Another great #ego !
Oh wow ! (and I am not an astronomer! ;D )
Nice one ! 😄
LOL !
😄
Wow ! #EGO
LOL !! 😄
Gorgeous !
Beautiful !
Wow !
Looks like you can't ! 😮 Or else it is very well hidden ! 😄
#EGO
Very ! 😄
It has a Halloweeny feel to it ! 😄
Sorry, I can't even see them ! Could be my screen !
Gorgeous image ! 😄
Where ?
I'd go for bubble
That is an optical artifact caused by oversaturation.
Not sure about this one.
Yes ! Nice catch
I'd go for artifact.
I'd probably go for a small bubble.
Looks like it ! Nice catch ! 😄
Wow !
LOL ! 😄
These lovely ones are very rare.
LOL ! 😄
Wow !
